Liga Privada, meaning "private blend" in Spanish, was originally produced only for Steve Saka, president of Drew Estate. The cigars are exceptionally difficult to roll, and consist of a stalk-cut Connecticut Habano wrapper, Brazilian Mata Fina binder, and a filler blend containing five different tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. Imagine trying to cram seven different tobaccos into a slim, 5x44 Corona size--it's no wonder Dirty Rat is an extremely limited release. The result, though, is a powerful, complex stogie with aromas of cedar and pepper, along with floral undertones. These are top shelf smokes that are well worthy of their labor-intensive rolling and painstaking blending--get yours before we jump the gun and smoke them all!SOC
